A Little About Me <3

"Rejoice, though you have considered all the facts." - Wendell Berry

Hi! My name is Olivia. I’m in my third year of university, studying Classical History and English Literature. I live in the sunny American south with my family and attend school there as well. I also work as a nanny and a server at a local country club. I grew up a little bit all over the world because of my dad’s job. I have a wonderful dog named Levi and an even wonderfuller boyfriend (who I’m sure will show up here plenty) whom I’ve been dating since September 2021. I live with my family in the same city I attend university in.

When I have time, I love reading historical fiction, fantasy, sci-fi, and all kinds of poetry. I also love sewing and crochet, though it’s been quite a bit of time since I’ve done either. I also play piano and sing whenever I can. Gaming wise, I like to play Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, Minecraft, Legends of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Dungeons and Dragons. A somewhat-but-not-really comprehensive list of my past and present fandoms includes: Doctor Who, BBC Sherlock, Good Omens, Lord of the Rings, Narnia, anything by Wendell Berry, the Wingfeather Saga, the Inheritance Cycle, Percy Jackson, Bridgerton, Jane Austen, Hadestown, Newsies, Wicked, and Hamilton. (I think that’s everything ^_^)

I love tea and coffee, cats, and curling up in comfy chairs with blankets. It is my goal to become a professor of medieval literature one day. I love writing short stories, poetry, and philosophical essays. I believe in the importance of family, home, and good food. I think music, story, and song are powerful and can communicate deep truths and transform their audiences. I want to be kind to everyone and provide a place of rest and community to any who need it. If any of this sounds interesting to you, I’d love for you to stay!

Olivia
